Washington Mills AS manufactures high quality CARBOREX silicon carbide micro grits, sub-micron powders, macro grits, metallurgical grade silicon carbide, and silicon carbide crude. Our CARBOREX products are available in a variety of grit sizes, shapes and chemistries to suit a wide range of applications. Washington Mills AS manufactures its own crude, allowing for total process control of the silicon carbide crude used to make CARBOREX micro grits.
Our state-of-the-art silicon carbide micro grit processing plant is equipped with the latest crushing and classification technology and has the advanced capability to produce high quality CARBOREX silicon carbide micro grits and sub-micron powders from 50 μm down to less than 1 μm.
